The Place Beyond The Pines (2013) Coming To Blu-ray
Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that they are adding the drama The Place Beyond the Pines to their upcoming slate of Blu-ray releases. The film is directed by Cianfrance and stars Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, and Rose Byrne. The film was written by Cianfrance, Ben Coccio, and Darius Marder. The Place Beyond the Pines will be available for purchase online and in stores beginning on August 6th.
The film powerfully explores the consequences of motorcycle rider Luke’s (Gosling) fateful decision to commit a crime to support his child. The incident renders him targeted by policeman Avery (Cooper), and the two men become locked on a tense collision course which will have a devastating impact on both of their families in the years following. Pines also stars Mahershala Ali, Emory Cohen, Dane DeHaan, Gabe Fazio, Bruce Greenwood, Ray Liotta, Ben Mendelsohn, and Harris Yulin.
The Place Beyond the Pines was released in March of 2013 and grossed over $21 million at the box office.
The Place Beyond the Pines features a 1080p video presentation, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround track, and several extras, including: a feature commentary with Cianfrance; deleted scenes; and an extended scenes.
