‘Rain Man’ Movie Summary
In Rain Man, Charlie Babbitt is a slick car dealer who learns that his estranged father has died. When he returns home to Cincinnati, he discovers that he has an autistic older brother named Raymond. Additionally, his father’s $3 million fortune is going to the mental institution where Raymond lives, and not to him. So, Charlie removes Raymond from the institution to bring him to his home in Los Angeles. This begins a cross-country trip that changes the brother’s lives forever.
