‘Dodge City’ Movie Summary
As the American Civil War winds down, and the armies disband, the westward expansion of the United States swings into full gear. Wade Hatton out of Ireland has adapted to these dark days, and he’s now leading a group of pioneers, including Abbie Irving and her reckless brother, to the wild town. Now he does his best to clean up the place, but a powerful outlaw named Jeff Surrett and his gang will do anything they can to stop him.

Lori couldn’t join? You have her tagged. Guess you need to review Adventures of Robin Hood at some point after this and captain blood. Crazy how many films Flynn and De Havilland made together.
Captain Blood we already did, and I love the Adventures of Robin Hood. Great swordfight between Flynn and Basil Rathbone. That one is going to be our New Years podcast for the Golden Age on 1/2020; Ball of Fire is this New Year’s podcast.
And no, Lori dropped out last minute on this one.
Also this is the 3rd Michael Curtiz film you reviewed. And he did Robin Hood as well. Underrated director. Hope you can do one of his great noirs The Breaking Point some day
I have not seen that film, so I added it to the list. Lori and I are already scheduled to review Mildred Pierce on it.
He will definitely show up on Sunday Seconds. His Mystery of the Wax Museum will be our Halloween episode next year. Doctor X will show up there too.
