While still not completely over his own problems, eventually, he finds he can carry out a relationship with the only waitress at the local diner who’ll serve him.

any love for Broadcast News? Which also happens to be a Criterion.

Yes! Broadcast News is an excellent film, both in theatrical release and on Criterion. 🙂 Holly Hunter got screwed for the Oscar. Glad she got it later for “The Piano”.
